Brian Yampolsky
I am a seasoned veteran (code for “old”) of the mortgage industry. Started in 1991, opened our own brokerage in 2000, and in 2020 we re-branded as “The Yampolsky Team” when my son Jeremy joined the family business. We love helping clients and their families navigate through their mortgage options to buy and refinance their homes. Getting a mortgage is a big deal and I really enjoy walking through the process with our clients so that they feel good about their decisions. We treat our clients with integrity and respect…the way I’d want to be treated too.
I grew up in Omaha, NE, attended college at the University of Arizona—aka the Harvard of the west—and graduated with degrees in finance and real estate. I’ve been living in Scottsdale since 1990, have been married to the same wonderful woman since 1991, have 3 great kids, and Bentley (our English bulldog). I enjoy spending time with my family and walking – my running days are over!

Jeremy Yampolsky
When people think about getting a home loan, most think of big bank institutions. That’s not us. We are a local, family-run business (as you can tell by the last names) that strives to be not the biggest, but the best mortgage company in town. Buying a house and refinancing are both big financial decisions, so it is important that you find a mortgage broker you can trust. I work towards making the loan process easy to understand and making sure all clients’ questions are answered.
A rare Phoenix native, I decided to spread my wings and travel all the way to Tucson, AZ where I earned my bachelor’s degree in Business Management and minored in Sports Management (we can talk ball any time). My time outside the office is typically spent watching AZ sports teams or seeing shows at theaters around the valley.

Originally from the East Coast, I’ve proudly called Arizona home since 2009. I’m a baseball mom, a book lover (I read over 100 a year!), a passionate traveler, and a self-declared culinary enthusiast. My son calls me a “culinary genius”—his words, not mine—and I love nothing more than gathering people around a table filled with good food and better conversation.
But the title I treasure most? Lola—a name lovingly given to me by my grandson. He’s the heart of my world, and being his Lola is my greatest joy.
For me, this business isn’t just about mortgages—it’s about people. I believe in building relationships that last long after closing. When clients become friends, and friends become family—that’s the real win.

I have been in the mortgage industry since 1996, starting as a loan processor and then took that knowledge and experience to become a loan officer and ran my own branch successfully for 8 years. I thoroughly enjoy helping clients, families, and friends with their buying or refinancing mortgage needs, walking them through the process, and getting them the best possible product.
I am originally from Latrobe, PA, and yes, a huge Pittsburgh Steeler fan! I grew up in Tempe, Arizona and attended Arizona State University on a Tennis Scholarship and graduated with a Communication degree. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends and hiking with my “fur baby”, Harley.
David Hatfield
After graduating from the University of Iowa in 2001, I moved to Arizona in 2003 to chase my love for the sport of golf. I quickly learned that it was a tough way to make an easy living, who knew? Working in various sales and customer service roles throughout my career, I attained my license to originate mortgage loans to help and support anyone who is beginning that very journey. Buying a home can be the largest purchase that many will make in their lifetime, it’s the #1 best way to gain personal wealth, AND it’s a no-brainer as to why I would love to help others achieve the dream of homeownership. Understanding my client’s wants and needs is my priority, along with helping to navigate the process of purchasing or refinancing a home for a better and brighter future.
Married to my amazing wife, Hayley, since 2012, we purchased our first home in 2015. Together we have two children, Emma is 11 and Ryan is 8 years old. We stay very busy with children’s activities and sports, primarily softball and soccer, as most parents know that could always change.
In my free time I still very much enjoy playing golf, poker, any paddle sports (pong not pickle) and anything outdoors (when the temp reads <110F). We own three fearless dogs that guard and occupy our domicile, Houdini, Twyla and Charlotte is our newest puppy, a one-year-old Bernadoodle. You may even meet Charlotte at an open house, as she is being trained to provide comfort and love to seniors with Alzheimer’s and dementia. Life is much better when you are genuinely smiling, and we try to keep it that way.
